2 hour beginner wheel throwing pottery class + you can choose from our selection of beautiful colours of glaze for your creations!
There is 2 wheels in use and max 4 participants per class
For ages 11 + accompanied by a participating adult
£55pp which includes a 2 hour tuition on how to throw on the wheel, having many practices before getting to choose your two favourites each to be fired. In addition to this, included in the price you can choose from our in house selection of coloured glazes to finish your pots perfectly, that I will glaze for you. Approximately 3-4 weeks after the throwing session I will contact you via email to schedule a collection date to pick up your pots. During the class you will get time to practice the throwing techniques for making a mug and bowl, then finish with two pieces to use in your home!

Location : The workshop will be held in Dolphinton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, UK. I will email you the specific workshop address upon booking.
In this workshop you will learn how to throw on the wheel. I will give a guided walk through of each of the stages to throwing and then allow you time to create your designs while I support and give assistance where needed to make it a a fun educational workshop. Following the workshop the pieces will need around 1-2 weeks to dry before being bisque fired, then I will glaze your pots with your choice of glaze and fire them again. Following this your pieces will be ready for collection within 4 weeks of your initial throwing class - an email will be sent out to notify you when it is ready!
£55pp - this includes your materials, glazes and firings. There will be a max of 4 people per class.

Cancellation: Any cancellations made within 14 days of the lesson date cannot be refunded, however, I will do my best to find an alternative date to reschedule. Finished items: I will take great care to ensure your pieces makes it through the entire process, however, due to the nature of ceramics there remains a risk it might not survive. I cannot be held responsible for any undesirable outcomes, including cracking, chips, misfires or explosions. Safety: I am not liable and cannot be held responsible for any accidents to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions.
